from a Contra Costa Bail Bonds Company

Clients repeatedly compliment us on our professionalism, which they don't expect from a bail bondsman. Our customer service focus helps the defendant and family endure an already challenging situation. All of our bondsmen are licensed, expertly trained and highly professional.

Bail Bonds Cost

When people call to bail out a friend or family member, the first thing many want to know is how much it’s going to cost.

For Contra Costa bail bonds, the fee is set by the California Department of Insurance.

A bail bond fee is non-refundable and is 10% of the defendant’s full bail. That means if bail amount is $20,000, a fairly typical Contra Costa bail, then the help of a bail bondsman will cost $2,000.

This can be very helpful for anyone that cannot afford to pay the full amount of a defendant’s bail or does not want to tie up money for months or even years during a court case.

Convenient Payment Options

We know that most people do not have the cost for a bail bond readily available in cash. We accept payments with any major credit card including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Many Contra Costa bail clients will also qualify for our flexible payment plans. This can help relieve some of the financial strain that comes from paying a large sum of money at once. To qualify, the cosigner must have good credit and or own a home in California. There are never additional costs when you arrange a payment plan for a bond.

In very rare cases, an 8% bail bond can be offered. This is dependent on several factors and you must call our office for details and restrictions.

No Collateral Bail Bonds

Many bail bonds companies will require some form of collateral in order to secure the bond. This is typically real estate that is valued high enough to cover the entire bail amount, in case the defendant does not appear for court. The collateral must be returned once the case has been resolved.

For most clients, we can offer no collateral bail bonds, requiring only your signature and no property. This is a risk-based factor. If the bond exceeds $150,000 or the defendant is a foreign citizen, we will require some form of collateral, typically real estate in California.

If obtaining a bond without putting up your house is important to you, call Adelante Bail Bonds to see if we can help.
