A local woman who really wanted to go to back jail got her wish. 35 year-old Chelsy Ginochio had been recently released from custody, according to a report by San Francisco CBS Local, so she hatched a plan that would land her back inside.
It started with vandalizing a bunch of cars that were parked outside the Martinez Detention Facility. Five vehicles were targeted, police said, and many of the cars had their windows smashed; several windshield wipers were also broken.
When sheriff’s deputies walked outside to see what all the commotion was about, they saw Ginochio in action. Not only did she get her wish of being re-arrested, she resisted officers, according to reports, which helped her get a few extra charges added to her booking sheet.
Investigators have not indicated why the woman wanted to go back to jail but they did note that she’d been recently booked at the county lock-up on prior vandalism charges.
