San Pablo Police Department
13880 San Pablo Avenue
San Pablo, CA 94806
If someone is arrested by the San Pablo Police Department, they will be transported to the Martinez Jail. It is the main detention facility in Contra Costa County.
There, the arrestee will be booked into the jail system, be fingerprinted and photographed, and backgrounds check and warrant search will be conducted. They will also be searched for any weapons or drugs. A jail phone will be available for the inmate’s use.
The booking process can take anywhere from 2-4 hours to complete, depending on how busy it is inside the jail.
1000 Ward Street
Martinez, CA 94553
The Martinez Jail is often at or over full capacity each day, with an average of 700 inmates being housed there daily. If an inmate is not bailed out, they will remain in custody until the court case is concluded.
Bail can be posted for your loved one’s release 24-hours a day. Their bail amount is determined after the booking process has been completed and is based on guidelines set in the Contra Costa bail schedule.
The cost of a bail bond is 10% of the defendant’s total bail amount. For example, if the bail is $10,000 then the fee will be $1,000. We know that this is not an expense many people can afford immediately. We will work with you to find the best possible solution.
Many clients qualify for free finance plans and, in most cases, no collateral is required to secure the bond. All major credit cards are accepted for payment.
